Speech (9th grade) will be doing speeches Monday and Tuesday during class time

Homecoming Reception

The Juniors are responsible for providing the Homecoming Reception and this is the list of what each student signed up to bring:

$5(will go towards cheese tray and strawberry tray)-  JaMichael, David, Steven, Abbie, Bailey, Colton, Bailey, Marquese

Everyone is to bring 1 2 liter of Ginger Ale and 1 bottle of White Grape Juice.
The class will pay for a cake and floral arrangement

2nd DC trip payment

Ninth grade parents,
The 2nd payment for the DC trip is due by November 7th.  The payment amount is $328 per person.  also parents, please let us know who you are rooming with.  Remember the number of people in your room determines the price you will pay and the last payment amount.  Thanks, Beth Murphree

next week (9/29-10/3) we will be reviewing for 9 weeks test.  Political Science and 11th US History will both take chapter tests on 10/2

 speech will have a test on chapter 5 and give their 3rd speech on giving directions.  must have a visual aid and give directions for their topic

This week seniors will have a test on chapter 2 friday.

hey everybody, just a couple of things:

DC trip- deposit was due on Friday Sept 5th

Juniors- magazine money is absolutely due on Friday Sept 12th.  Sales havent gone well so we need everything we can get.

DC trip

hi everybody, finally got my computer so I can fill you in on the DC trip.  The first deposit is due next week on 9/5.  Your child brought home a sheet with the prices for quad occupancy, triple occupancy, double occupancy, single occupancy. If you dont have the sheet, I can send you another!  If you would like to go to, the deposit for both of you is due by Friday, $200 per person.

with the growing concern regarding a number of social issues that impact our children today, there will be a program that is scheduled for Thursday, january 23 in the school cafetorium.  The program will be for students in grades 7-12 and will begin at 9:00.  This program will deal with topics such as internet safety, sexting and cyber safety/bullying.  the program will be presented by Brent Cosby, MS, from Laurel Oaks Behavioral health Center in Dothan, Alabama.  Parents are cordially invited to attend.  If you choose for your child not to attned, please contact the school office at 566-2023
